Paste your prompt, add a few facts about you, get four answers people can comment on.
Hinge prompt answers are where most profiles die. The prompt is good, the answer is "good food and good company," and nobody has anything to say back. This Hinge prompt generator fixes the answer, not the prompt. You paste the prompt you picked (or leave it blank and it picks one that fits you), type a few real things about yourself, and get four answers: one funny, one sincere, one bold, one playful. Every answer is under 30 words and gives the other person something to react to, because on Hinge the comment is the opener.
How it works
Type a few things about you. What you do, one hobby, one odd detail, what you are looking for. Real facts only. "Teacher, weekend hiker, terrible at pub trivia" gives better answers than "fun and easygoing."
Paste the Hinge prompt. Copy it exactly as Hinge shows it: "Dating me is like," "I'll fall for you if," "Two truths and a lie." Leave the box empty and the tool picks the prompt that fits your facts best and labels each answer with it.
Pick one answer and paste it. You get four in different tones. Choose the one that sounds most like you, change a word if you need to, and put it on your profile. Run it again with a different prompt for the other two slots.
What the best Hinge prompt answers do differently
Same prompt, same person, two answers. The left side is what most people write. The right side is what the generator gave back from a few real details. Notice that every rewrite has something to comment on.
Before
“Dating me is like: a fun adventure! Never a dull moment.”
After
“Dating me is like: having a friend who always knows a good taco place and will absolutely make you try the salsa”
Input: "loves finding hole in the wall taco spots." "Fun adventure" is a claim with no evidence. The rewrite is a scene, and the obvious comment is "which taco place."
Before
“I'll fall for you if: you make me laugh and you're honest.”
After
“I'll fall for you if: you can name three albums you love without checking your phone. I will do the same and we will judge each other kindly”
Input: "music nerd, vinyl collection." Everyone wants funny and honest. A small test gives people a way in: they will answer with three albums.
Before
“My simple pleasures: coffee, sunsets, good vibes.”
After
“My simple pleasures: the first crossword clue I get without thinking, and the moment the dog realizes we are going to the park”
Input: "does the crossword every morning, has a dog." The generic list could be anyone. The rewrite is two tiny moments only this person would write.
Before
“Two truths and a lie: I love to travel, I have a dog, I'm a good cook.”
After
“Two truths and a lie: I have never seen a Star Wars movie. I got a speeding ticket on a bike. My grandma beats me at poker every Christmas”
Input: "bikes everywhere, big family, never watched Star Wars." The original has no lie worth guessing. The rewrite makes people want to guess, and guessing is a comment.
Before
“Green flags I look for: good communication and kindness.”
After
“Green flags I look for: you have a go-to karaoke song and you do not need to be talked into it”
Input: "loves karaoke, hates people who are too cool for things." Kindness is not a comment starter. A karaoke song is: people will tell you theirs.

Tips for Hinge prompt answers that get comments
Write the comment first. Before you post an answer, ask what someone would say back. If you cannot think of anything, neither can they. Every good answer has an obvious reply built in.
One real detail beats three adjectives. "Adventurous, funny, loyal" is invisible. "I got a speeding ticket on a bike" is a story. Details are what people comment on.
Keep it under 30 words. Hinge shows answers in a small card. Long answers get cut off and skipped. Short ones get read to the end.
Mix the tones across your three prompts. One funny, one sincere, one that says what you want. Three jokes in a row reads as hiding. Three sincere ones reads as heavy.
Pick prompts that let you be specific. "Two truths and a lie," "My simple pleasures," and "Typical Sunday" force details. "I'm weirdly attracted to" invites answers that age badly.
Do not answer with a list of demands. "Green flags: no games, no drama, must have a job." Even when fair, it reads as a wall. Say what you like instead.
Which Hinge prompts should you pick?
The generator answers any prompt, but some are easier to answer well. The ones that ask for a concrete thing (a Sunday, a pleasure, a fear, a lie) produce answers with details, and details get comments. The ones that ask for an opinion about yourself ("I'm the type of texter who," "My greatest strength") produce adjectives. If you are choosing your three, the guide on best Hinge prompts ranks them and explains why. Once the answers are up and the likes start, best Hinge openers covers how to comment on someone else's prompt, which is the other half of the app.
👋 Someone liked your prompt. Now what?
Paste their profile or a screenshot and get openers written for that exact person, so the match does not sit there until it expires.
Yes. You get a few free runs a day in the browser with no account. The TextRizz app removes the limit and adds replies, openers and the chat analyzer in one place.
What if I have not picked a prompt yet?
Leave the prompt box empty. The tool picks the prompt that fits your facts best from the common ones and labels each answer with the prompt name in brackets, so you know which one to select in Hinge.
How long should a Hinge prompt answer be?
Under 30 words. Hinge shows answers in a card and long ones get cut off. Every answer the generator writes fits in that range, and the 30 examples on this page do too.
Why do I get four answers in different tones?
Because the right tone depends on your other two prompts. If you already have a funny one, take the sincere answer here. If your profile is all sincere, take the funny one. Four options let you balance the whole profile.
Can I use these answers on Bumble or Tinder?
Mostly yes. Bumble has similar prompts and the answers work as they are. Tinder has one open bio instead of prompts, so the same facts need a different shape. That is a different tool.
Are the example answers on this page original?
Yes. They are written for this page as templates. Swap the detail for one of yours before you post one, because a Hinge answer only works when it is true about you.
